“If they think we went there to work in a war zone, risk our own lives, you know, I lost 15 pounds in the two weeks that I was there. I was miserable, pronounced more people dead there than I usually do in a year at my work as a trauma surgeon in California. If they think I went through all that just to make up some nonsense for no obvious reason, that's on them. I don't really know what to say anymore.”
I would just let people know that the pictures are real. I have the full CT scans. I was just on a podcast with a fellow named Alan Dworman who rightly describes himself as pro-Israel, but he’s an honest fellow. I went through the scans with him. I showed him them and they’re not fake. If people want to come up with all sorts of ludicrous explanations for why 65 American health care workers – plenty of whom like me have no connection to the Israel Palestine conflict. I’m not Jewish. I’m not Israeli. I’m not Palestinian. I’m not Arab. I’m not Muslim. I’m not Christian. No connection to it whatsoever other than the fact that I’m an American. If they think we went there to work in a war zone, risk our own lives, you know, I lost 15 pounds in the two weeks that I was there. I was miserable, pronounced more people dead there than I usually do in a year at my work as a trauma surgeon in California. If they think I went through all that just to make up some nonsense for no obvious reason, that’s on them. I don’t really know what to say anymore.
